In one of most recognizable retail chain You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Group Sustainable Growth strategy on all markets. Initiate local projects and monitor their introduction. You will ensure Group compliance with legal requirements in CSR area and monitor potential risks, both legal and reputation ones.


Your main duties:

  • Group sustainable growth strategy embedment – In cooperation with departmental heads (Buying, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, Marketing) define sustainable growth goals and implementation plan, based on Group strategy. Prepare local sustainable growth proposals in particular areas (e.g. waste, pollutant emissions, energy management). Monitor and support implementation of the yearly plans.
  • Compliance with legal requirements – Identify environmental/CSR-related legal requirements on particular markets and creates company standards enabling them to be fulfilled. Monitor risks on regular basis and builds proposals to mitigate them.
  • Cooperation with external and internal stakeholders – Participate in CSR/environmental projects in cooperation with state institutions, NGOs and industry associations. Evaluate and cooperate in the planning and implementation of investment projects in terms of system solutions and environmental protection. In cooperation with Corporate Communication team work on positive image in the area of CSR/environmental areas.
  • Budget management – Manage allocated budget on daily basis, in line with planned activities.

What we expect from candidate:

Ideally master’s degree in relevant fields (environmental protection, waste management, ecology and management or similar),
Deep knowledge in the areas mentioned above – more than 3 years of  in the areas of environmental safety/CSR/ sustainable growth

Experience in retail or FMCG companies – strong asset
Communication, Client Orientation, Problem Solving, Project Management skills on an advance level
Willingness to discover new fields and creating new business paths and ways of working
Teamwork attitude – Strong personality to drive engagement internally and externally, ability to influence others
Decision Taking, Results Focus is a must
Excellent English language in writing and speech
