Position summary
GRI is looking to recruit an Assistant to perform a wide range of tasks in support of the Corporate & Stakeholder Relations (C&SR) Team. The assistant will primarily work on programs GRI is running for companies, but will also gain experience in relationship management, fundraising and events. The assistant will also provide excellent standards in project management and delivery for the GOLD Community (members) and complete administrative tasks related with accuracy.

Core responsibilities
Assist on the project management of C&SR project like the GRI Corporate Leadership Groups on integrated reporting and Corporate Action Group for reporting on the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the GRI GOLD Roundtables which include but not restricted to:
•  Creation of communication materials (online invitation, flyers, articles, and other)
•  Development of speakers’ briefings, presentations, handbooks and more
•  Logistical preparation of online and in person meetings
•  Preparation of project reports to outline and highlight key findings and developments of projects
•  Respect of the project timeline (Track project milestones and deliverables)
•  Assist in providing detailed research to support GRI developing potential new engagement streams

•  Supports internal and external meetings and events, in the Netherlands and abroad – preparing agendas, speeches, presentations and other documents, organizing venues and logistics

•  Maintains and improves the C&SR Team’s project pages using CMS

•  Other duties as requested.

Requirements
•  Proven experience regarding organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail and accurate; ability to prioritize and multi-task
•  Excellent writing and speaking skills in English (native speaker’s level); minimally one other language
•  Ability to work independently and from own initiative
•  Networker and information sharer; excellent communications and interpersonal skills
•  Representative appearance, sense of diplomacy, discreteness
•  Awareness of international cultural diversity
•  Advanced abilities to work with Microsoft Office programs
•  Affinity with the mission and vision of GRI
